Kiley Grimes
A musician and community builder creating places where creative and entrepreneurial communities can practice, connect, and grow.
The person behind the enterprise
Building places.
Growing community.
Kiley Grimes builds places around a simple conviction: people need somewhere to belong while they create. In Columbia, Missouri, that conviction connects Soundcheck’s musician community with Villageco.work’s professional network.
Raised around family band rehearsals, Kiley understands music as a shared practice. She founded Soundcheck in 2024 to give musicians an accessible, well-equipped home base. Its membership studio brings rehearsal, coaching, recording, and community gatherings into one setting.
With Vinny Marinaro, she cofounded Villageco.work next door: a membership coworking space and professional community for founders, entrepreneurs, and investors in mid-Missouri. Across both enterprises, she brings together physical space, recurring participation, and relationships.
Her wider vision for Soundcheck spans music education, business support, summits, and destination-based retreats and residencies. LOGOS is helping strengthen the Columbia studio’s membership and operations before expansion; Villageco.work remains an incoming partnership being explored.
